Thanks to its large contact surface and clear, simple design, the PBAL1 push button is very user friendly.
The LED lights up green to indicate that the door is unlocked and returns to white as soon as the lock is reset (at resting state).
LED driven by an access control
The LED can be controlled by a stand-alone access control system, provided that a timer is integrated in the keypad.
In this case, the opening is obtained by simply pressing the finger on the stainless steel surface of the ABS push button, but it is not necessary to manually keep the stainless steel button pressed to gain access. If the timer on the keypad is set to 30 seconds, for example, this gives you time to leave the building with your hands free!
Choice of voltage and mounting type
This push button operates on 12V DC or 24V DC depending on the installation. It can be surface mounted or mortice mounted on a 60 mm standard electrical flush-box. It is a flexible access control device, which can be stand-alone or controlled by a proximity reader, or by a magnetic contact.
A push button with changeover contact
It is the C/NO/NC contact integrated in the 12/24V DC PBAL1 that triggers the opening and closing of the door. Its switching capability is 30V DC – 0.5 A.
